Teeth Whitening
Very few dental procedures can make a more dramatic difference than teeth whitening. A bright, white, smile can take years off of a person’s face, and help to create a more beautiful and youthful appearance. Although there are several options for whitening teeth, we recommend either a quick and painless in-office treatment or if you would like to whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home, at-home teeth whitening is a great solution as well. The Beverly Hills Medical Center- Kuwait can easily help you achieve your teeth whitening goals.
In-Office Teeth Whitening
If the first option is right for you, and you’re interested in having the hour long procedure done in our dental office, in just one visit your teeth can be whitened up to 9 shades. There are several methods for whitening teeth, and we have found that the laser systems are very effective and safe. These treatments can also last for years, if taken care of properly, and have been proven to be more effective than store-bought whitening toothpastes of whitening strips.
In-Office Teeth Whitening- Will it Work For Me?
At the Beverly Hills Medical Center – Kuwait we ware committed to helping our patients achieve the whitening results that they desire. In the first consultation, we will discuss with you what your goals are for the process, and then realistically address the possibilities for teeth whitening. Depending on the current state of your teeth, and the amount of discoloration or stain, whitening can he a harder, longer, process.
If the laser whitening treatment is the right fit for you, we will apply a 17% hydrogen peroxide gel to your teeth. The gel is activated by the LED light that is placed in the mouth. These two components combine to help break-up tooth stains by targeting the dentin. The process is fast, and will take approximately one hour from start to finish. Your comfort is our number one priority, and during this waiting period you can relax, read, listen to music or watch a movie/TV.
Longevity of Results
Depending on your lifestyle choices, in-office teeth whitening can last for over one year. However, we will give you guidelines to follow after the process, and depending on how you follow them will directly affect your teeth whitening results. To extend the longevity of your treatment, we recommend not consuming a lot of coffee, tea, or wine and to steer clear of smoking cigarettes. Once again, you do not have to completely stop drinking these beverages or smoking, however, cutting back will significantly increase the teeth whitening results. Although teeth whitening touch-ups are also available.
