    LASIK Recovery Kuwait

All around the world, millions of people have experienced the joy of clear vision courtesy of LASIK. If you suffer from myopia, hyperopia, or astigmatism, you may be a candidate for this procedure as well! As with all surgeries, however, it’s important to be knowledgeable about all stages of the surgery, including LASIK recovery. Kuwait ophthalmologists and surgeons work to ensure that all LASIK patients receive the results they desire. Learn more about LASIK laser eye surgery by contacting the Beverly Hills Medical Center of Kuwait at +(965)-222-89999.

    LASIK Recovery Kuwait

LASIK is a simple and fast procedure, and the same holds true for its recovery time as well. Generally, LASIK takes approximately ten minutes per eye. During the procedure, patients are sedated to keep them calm and relaxed. Once the surgery is over, patients are free to return home, though it’s strongly recommended that they be driven home by a friend or family member.

After returning home, patient’s may experience discomfort in the eyes, including burning sensations and itching. It’s important to remember that this is normal, and to help alleviate any discomfort a patient may experience, doctors may prescribe medications to help control any pain or discomfort. After surgery, patients should refrain from rubbing or touching their eyes, as this could adversely affect the healing process of the corneal tissue of the eyes.

Vision fluctuations after LASIK surgery are normal and should not be feared. In many cases, it may take up to six months before these fluctuations stop and patients are able to enjoy their 20/20 vision. When recovering from LASIK, it’s important to remember that the process may take some time, and that halos, glare, and sunbursts are common side-effects that many people experience during LASIK recovery. After a few short months, however, patients can finally enjoy the perfect vision they’ve always dreamed of!
