Liquid Facelift Procedure

Liquid Facelift Beverly Hills Kuwait

While we certainly have nothing against facelifts, we believe that it is time to shift our perspective from the facelift as a cure-all to the facelift as a complement to several other viable, safe, and healthy alternatives. It is, moreover, about time we stop thinking of the facelift as the gold standard of facial rejuvenation.

Very few procedures have wide-ranging results. In fact, most are specialized treatments for a particular problem, such as volume loss or laxity. Fortunately, we now have a broad range of techniques available to help fight the aging process. Injectables, which are the main materials used in a liquid facelift, can address lost fullness, expression lines, and flattened or hollowed features.

Liquid Facelift Procedure

After an initial examination, you and your cosmetic surgeon will draw up a treatment plan that is designed specifically for the signs of aging, as well as your personal needs and goals. Temporary fillers, such as hyaluronic acid-based or collagen-based, as well as longer-lasting injectables like Radiesse and Sculptra, are all candidates that we may use. Generally, longer lasting injectables like Radiesse and Sculptra are combined with Botox, hyaluronic acids, and collagen fat grafting to optimize outcome. Restylane and Juvederm fill lips and creases, collagen fat grafting fills fine lines and thinner tissues, and Radiesse and Sculptra create new curves or fill deep crevices in facelift procedures.

Injecting fillers at varying depths to fill creases creates more youthful contours and a balanced appearance. Depending on the number of injection sites and the injectables used, treatment can take as little as 30 minutes.

After Liquid Facelift

While liquid facelifts are generally visible instantly, it can take up to three session to see improvement if Sculptra is used. In such cases, sessions are spaced about a month apart, with improvement occurring gradually.

Swelling and bruising may be experienced the first few days after treatment, but there are ways to minimize it. When you leave the center, you will be given a pack of ice to keep the swelling down. To optimize the outcome, you should also avoid exercise for the first few hours post-surgery in order to prevent an increase in heart rate or blood pressure. It is, moreover, helpful for patients to avoid vitamin E, anti-inflammatory medication, fish oil, and any blood thinning medications like aspirin and ibuprofen that promote bruising.

How Long Does a Liquid Facelift Last?

The duration depends on which fillers were used in the liquid facelift procedure. Collagen-based fillers last three to four months, hyaluronic acid–based fillers can last from six to twelve months, and semi permanent injectables like Radiesse and Sculptra can last one to two years, or even more. Botox lasts from three to six months, but may also help temporary fillers last longer by decreasing muscle action. In order to fine-tune the results, follow-up treatments may be necessary.

There is currently a massive demand for this popular, safe, and effect procedure. As long as you are clear about your expectations and discuss all alternatives openly and honestly, the results will likely be better than you could ever imagine.
